Ahead of the foreign draft of the new season, five professional volleyball men's and women's teams have confirmed renewing contracts with existing players.

The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) announced the team and the list of players who notified the renewal of the contract at midnight on the 8th, the deadline for renewal registration, in accordance with the guidelines for foreign players' tryouts.

The annual salary of the renewal player is $550,000 (about 770 million won) for the men's team and $300,000 (about 420 million won) for the women's team.

As a result, four men's and five women's teams will select new foreign players in the draft, which will be held at the Istanbul World Elite Hotel in Turkiye at 4 p.m. (Men's) and 9 p.m. (Women's) on the 9th.

The draft differentially distributes the beads in the reverse order of the 2024-25 season's performance and sets the order of nomination.

Out of the total 140 beads, 35 beads in 7th place, 30 beads in 6th place, 25 beads in 5th place, 20 beads in 4th place, 15 beads in 3rd place, 10 beads in 2nd place, and 5 beads in 1st place will be drawn.
